I build stories from the inside out.

My work spans storytelling, worldbuilding, writing, character development, and creative direction — with a focus on creating ideas that feel emotionally grounded, visually distinct, and expansive enough to keep growing.

I like taking an early spark and developing it into something more complete: a character with a history, a world with rules, a story with emotional weight, or a larger creative vision that can move across different formats.

My process is imaginative, research-driven, collaborative, and constantly evolving.

Core Creative Areas

What I do best.

Five disciplines sit at the center of how I develop ideas and bring them into focus.

01

Storytelling

I develop stories from the earliest idea through the larger narrative — including original premises, emotional arcs, interconnected storylines, pacing, themes, plot twists, dialogue, long-form planning, and the character relationships that make an audience care.

I’m especially drawn to stories that keep expanding beyond the first idea and leave room for discovery, theory, emotion, and surprise.

02

Worldbuilding

I build worlds from the inside out — histories, cultures, governments, social systems, economies, religions, geography, technology, magic systems, languages, timelines, visual identity, and the small everyday details that make a setting feel lived in rather than simply described.

Worldbuilding is one of the parts of my work people tend to notice first, and it’s one of the areas I love developing most.

03

Writing

I write across dialogue, scripts, scene work, emotional beats, character voice, description, lore, reference material, pitch copy, and longer-form narrative development.

I’m especially interested in writing that feels specific to the character and world rather than interchangeable from one project to another.

04

Character Development

I develop characters from the inside out — personality, backstory, motivations, flaws, relationships, emotional arcs, voice, symbolism, visual identity, and the role they play within the larger story.

I care about making characters feel distinct enough that you can understand who they are not only from what they say, but from how they move through the world around them.

05

Creative Direction

I shape the overall creative vision of a project — from tone, atmosphere, and visual identity to how different creative elements connect and support the same world.

I enjoy translating an idea into a clear direction, giving thoughtful feedback, helping collaborators understand the bigger picture, and keeping the emotional and visual language consistent as a project develops.

Supporting Creative Skills

The tools around the vision.

These are the supporting disciplines I use to research, shape, communicate, and expand creative work.

Visual Development

Helping define how a world, character, environment, or concept should look and feel.

Concept Development

Taking a small idea and expanding it into something larger, clearer, and more complete.

Franchise / Transmedia Development

Thinking about how one IP can expand across series, films, comics, games, publishing, merchandise, side stories, and other formats.

Creative Research

Researching eras, science, space, culture, visual references, music, theories, and other material that can deepen a story or world.

Pitch & Presentation Development

Organizing ideas into decks, summaries, bibles, project overviews, and clear presentation materials.

Creative Communications

Explaining ideas clearly to collaborators, giving notes, writing outreach, and helping people understand the creative vision.

How I Work

From spark to something real.

I don’t force every project through the same process. I follow what arrives first, then build around it.

01

I Follow the Spark

I don’t believe every idea has to begin in the same place. Sometimes a project starts with a character I can’t stop thinking about. Sometimes it begins with a theory, a visual, a question, a scene, a world, or even one tiny “what if?”

From there, I follow the idea — asking questions, making connections, researching, writing, sketching, and figuring out what exists beyond the first piece.

02

I Build in Layers

Once an idea starts growing, I usually work on several parts of it at the same time. I might write a scene, switch over to make a moodboard, research an era or scientific theory, sketch a character, then return to the writing because a visual reference gave me a new idea.

My process can look a little chaotic from the outside, but internally, everything is connecting.
03

I Keep Refining

I’m naturally a perfectionist, so I rarely make something once and leave it untouched. I build it, revisit it, add to it, question it, update it, and keep refining it as the larger idea becomes clearer.

I’m always asking: Can this be deeper? Clearer? More connected? More specific?

04

I Collaborate, Not Just Direct

Even when I have a strong vision, I don’t want collaboration to feel like everyone else is simply there to follow instructions. I care about open communication, honest feedback, experimentation, and making sure people feel comfortable bringing their own ideas into the process.

If someone has a better idea, I want to hear it. If something isn’t working, I’d rather talk about it honestly. If someone sees something I missed, that can make the project stronger.
